Terms and Conditions Provisional bookings

Will be taken without obligation and held for 14 days. If written confirmation and deposit are not received the booking will be released. To secure your date, please fill in the attached booking form and forward with your £500 deposit. A letter of confirmation will be sent by return of post.


Once your booking has been confirmed you will need to come to the Hotel and finalise all arrangements at least 2 months before the date, please call to arrange a convenient time.  When we have details of all your arrangements we would ask that 50% of the final estimated cost be paid six weeks prior to the wedding.  A final account deducting your original deposit and the 50% payment will then be payable the weekend of the wedding. We do not accept final payment by cheque.

  1. In the unlikely event that you should have to cancel or postpone your confirmed booking your deposit is not refundable or transferable.
  2. Final numbers: An indication of the final numbers should be given at least 10 days prior to the wedding.  Any reduction in numbers received within 72 hours before the wedding will be charged for in full.  Any increase will be charged as extra.
  3. When you give your final numbers please indicate the exact number seated with a breakdown of adults and children eating/not eating.
  4. Food, wines or spirits cannot be brought onto the premises or surrounding property by customers or guests for consumption and no food can be taken off the premises due to Health and Safety Regulations.
  5. We do request that a set menu be agreed for numbers of 15 or more.
  6. Vegetarians or those with special dietary requests will be treated individually.
  7. We accept all major debit/credit cards, but if paying by American Express there will be a 3% charge. All prices include VAT.
  8. There will be a 10% service charge on food.
  9. You will be charged if any cleaning costs/damages are incurred due to sickness etc. by guests/children in toilets/bedrooms/garden.
  10. We regret to inform you that due to budget or food/spirit price increases, these costs will have to be passed on to the customer accordingly.
  11. All prices are based on having a wedding breakfast and evening reception
  12. Guests who stay at the hotel on the day of the wedding will be entitled to a 10% discount on their room booking
Please note: Anything other than wedding cake and balloons must not be brought onto the premises without prior discussion with one of the management team. This includes chocolate/champagne fountains, table confetti and any other activity that includes food or drink.
